We created Mamatcha to be the matcha we actually wanted to drink.
Our matcha comes from a small organic farm in the mountains of Japan, far from urban pollution. The tea is shade-grown before harvest to naturally concentrate its antioxidants, then stone-milled using a slow, traditional process that preserves the nutrients most commercial brands lose. It's certified organic in both Japan and Canada.
That level of care isn't common. Most matcha on the shelf is bitter, full of additives, and mass-imported with little attention to how it was grown or processed. We went looking for something better, and we found it.
Matcha isn't steeped. You consume the entire leaf. That means you get the full concentration of antioxidants, amino acids, chlorophyll, and vitamins. The result is steady energy without the crash, better focus, and a calm clarity that coffee can't match.
